Holland's enthusiast and godfather of young contemporary art YOUR:OWN is putting a pre-christmas exhibition in the heart of Amsterdam. A round up of art born in his surroundings this year.

Two of my works will be part of the repertoire along with two of my life long love SCRMN, so there might be some fireworks. Come join us.

MOVEMBER AUCTION

Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.

One of my photographs will be auctioned this Sunday at SIDLEE for the cause along with other Dutch and international photographers and artists including Andrea Klarin, Cleo Campert, Jan Rothuizen, Aukje Dekker, Leon Hendrickx, The London Police, Gijs Kast and many many more.

The nice guys at SidLee celebrated Dr Emmett Brown day last Friday with some time traveling art and whiskeys the size of coca-colas.

VATICAN KILLED THE CHURCH STAR

Born and raised a Catholic, it took a walk through the Vatican walls to sink the last nail on the coffin of my relationship with the all mighty Church.

It took me back to items on the Colombian evening news indirectly showcasing a race for the most extravagant Narco-King home . One more outrageous than the next. Gold sinks, priceless art and larger than life architecture. All live on TV after the inhabitant had found its death by hands of the police or his/her equals.

The power, the abuse, the lack of sense of reality...Same principle, same corrupt background for the capital that built it. The difference is, the narcos home arent treated as attractions worth traveling hundreds-thousands of kilometers. The Vatican is.

On the beauty side of things, they did have some magnificent art and light.

Thoughts are duplicable and transferable beings.

I have an idea, I vocalize it and its now almost identically imprinted in your brain.

Almost exact.

One could say fotocopied, with just a tiny change if anything. Barely noticeable.

Emotions on the other hand are unique.

I dont know if you love like I love.

If I tell you how I feel when I love it doesnt mean you can feel it.

If I tell you I love you, it doesnt mean you have the capability to love me back the same way, or even remotely close.

Its a non transferable ownership.

Unique and unduplicable. Unshakeable.

That makes them so much more special over rationality and thought.

Thats why we are still obsessed by them.

Thats probably why you dont understand.

Thats why I am a creature of love, and you are just a creature.
